Our group has made significant progress in zinc-ion battery electrolyte research. We revealed the impact of water content in the electrolyte on the kinetics and reversibility of both the positive and negative electrode interfaces. By appropriately regulating the water content, we found that it is possible to overcome the limitations of high capacity and long lifespan in zinc-ion batteries. This enables the simultaneous achievement of high capacity and long lifespan for these batteries. This work has been published in Chemical science.
