Our group prepared M/SDC (M= Ru, Pd and Pt) catalysts and used oxygen transport membrane reactor to evaluate their catalytic activities towards water dissociation reaction (WDR) and hydrogen oxidation reaction (HOR), respectively. Among the three catalysts, Ru/SDC catalyst shows the highest activities towards both WDR and HOR. Ru nanoparticles grew to < 20 nm after the test at elevated temperatures up to 940 °C for tens of hours. This work has been published in Journal of Membrane Science, 2021, 634, 119394.
