Our group synthesized a series of binaryand ternary transition metal oxides and employed them for the preferentialremoval of CO in the effluent stream of propane selective oxidation. It wasfound that the CuO-CeO2-based catalysts exhibited the best CO removalperformance, wider operating temperature window and high resistance to theinhibition of hydrocarbons, H2O and CO2.
