Recently, the team of researchers Yang Weishen and Ban Yujie from the Inorganic Membranes and Catalytic New Materials Research Group (Group 504) of the State Key Laboratory of Catalysis Fundamentals of our institute proposed a new concept of "adaptive repair of dynamic stress defects in MOF molecular sieve membranes", which places the membrane in advance. Challenging its tolerance limit in risky hydrothermal environments, forcing stress defects to be fully exposed; and synchronously coupled growth of nanoparticles in the same chemical environment, achieving positioning and growth of nanoparticles through nutrient capillary enrichment at dynamic newly formed defects, forming precise The adaptive repair area significantly improves the separation durability of the membrane without losing separation performance.
